The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021, has been promulgated on 4 April 2021, introducing prepackaged insolvency resolution process, for corporate persons classified as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It aims to provide an efficient alternative insolvency resolution process for MSME sector, ensuring quicker, cost effective and value maximizing outcome for all the stakeholders, in a manner which is least disruptive to the continuity of their businesses and which helps preserve jobs.
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) is conducting a series of 90 minutes webinars on “The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021”, for the Insolvency Professionals, who are registered with IBBI. The third of such programmes is scheduled to be organized on 20 May 2021 (Thursday: 1530 to 1700 hrs), in Virtual Mode.
Since the number of seats available for the Webinar are limited, intake of the participants shall be on first come first serve basis. Eligible, registered IPs who are interested in attending the Webinar may submit their request online.
