IBBI is organising a seminar on "Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow" on Women's day

Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) is celebrating International Women's Day by organising a half-day Seminar, on the lines of this year’s United Nations theme Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow on Tuesday, the 8th March 2022, at 10.30 hrs - 13.00 hrs.

Equality is not only a women's issue, but it has socio-economic significance. Gender equality is the sine qua non for the economic progress of communities. A gender-equal world is healthier, wealthier and essential for harmonious co-existence. The increasing presence of Women in new professions such as the Insolvency Profession and Valuer Profession is another testimony of women’s empowerment in the country.

The seminar will discuss the emerging role of women in such professions and a few women achievers will share their success stories in an attempt to inspire society to strive to be more gender-neutral.
